For those of you who haven’t followed me at the new sites yet, I have established new blogs at BDSMlr, MeWe, and Sharesome, all under the sexlibris name. I also have a Twitter, used so infrequently that I won’t even bother linking to it, with the handle @jckdyln. I guess my retirement was announced prematurely. :)
As for what’s going to happen with my Tumblr blog tomorrow, I’m not exactly sure. I did get a backup from Tumblr on December 12, but I have been completely unable to download it so far. I understand it has a massive amount of stuff, but I thought that’s what .zip files were for. If anyone knows what might be causing this and/or how to fix it, please let me know, and soon. I will try to save as much of my blog as I can on my own, but I won’t get everything. I don’t know how long my blog will remain here; I know that Tumblr said that NSFW blogs can stay, the adult content will just be made private, but there’s a lot of porn in here. It’d be easier to just kick me out. I’ll be here until they do.
Meanwhile, I’ll be establishing myself at those new places. I’ll also be participating in the Pillowfort beta (right now it’s very sparse, but it might get interesting after some time) and monitoring the situations with MojoFire and Cumblr and any other good-looking places that emerge phoenix-like out of Tumblr’s ashes.
I want to reiterate what a pleasure it has been serving as the curator of Jack’s Sexual Library, a place that I believe became one of the premier porn blogs on the Tumblr platform. It sucks that Tumblr has turned hostile towards one of its most active and under appreciated communities, but life goes on. I’m looking forward to finding out what’s in store next, and as I always have, I hope you enjoy yourselves.
